Job description

To coordinate and provide support for the provisioning of NGNBN fibre services to fulfill and meet the QoS target set by IMDA.

Responsibilities :

  • Liaise with contractors, 3rd party vendors and internal teams to resolve technical problems encountered by order provisioning on site survey/installation matters
  • Resolving data conflicts as reported on site by contractors
  • Monitor and ensure that all inventory related work order issues are resolved timely and updated to meet QoS performance.
  • Provide support to Service Provisioning personnel in facilitating the orders ensuring the network inventory is up-to date
  • Preparation and update of NRS information for subsequent generation of Network Information records.
  • After hours support (rotation) for contractors and service provisioning.
  • To track and report on AFOC/ANF progress
  • Prepare daily reports for works order monitoring.
  • Interpret data to formulate customer insights to drive strategic business goals/ decisions
  • Create analytical framework: ad-hoc analysis, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting tools to surface key data to stakeholders
  • Develop fit for purpose reporting, dashboards, and visualizations to support and enable data driven decision making across the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements

Requirements :

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Telecommunications
  • At least 1 year working experience in telecommunications or info-communications industry; preferably in cable infrastructure rollout
  • Able to understand problems raised by contractor on site over the phone
  • Able to diagnose and guide the contractor step by step over the phone to resolve the technical issue
  • Able to be on standby rotation roster to provide support
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Qilkview
  • Experience in analytical programming language such as SQL, Python or R.
  • Have an analytical mind to study issues and come up with solutions to help in resolving them
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision & resilient to challenges
  • A good team player & highly motivated, goal-oriented individual
