To be a member of the Engineering Planning team, responsible for planning and executing telecommunication infrastructure (Duct and Manhole) and deploying Singapore’s Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN) fibre infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

• Perform planning and execution of pipe and fibre infrastructure projects, including Common Service Ducts (CSD), Utility Service Ducts (USD), new commercial and housing developments, and Fibre Networks.
• Update network inventory records for cables, pipelines, and orders in accordance with the planned project and on-site completion.
• Effectively oversee and manage projects, taking responsibility for implementing telecommunications underground infrastructure projects within the designated area, ensuring strict adherence to established operational procedures and engineering directives.
• Work closely with utility providers and relevant authorities to coordinate and deconflict service alignments.
• Review plans and proposals to identify potential conflicts and proactively address issues.
• Perform additional duties as delegated by the Supervisor

Requirements :

• Possesses a Diploma in Civil Engineering or related disciplines, accompanied by three years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of the planning and construction processes involved in telecommunication or underground infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
