Job Purpose

To coordinate and provide support for the provisioning of NGNBN fibre services to Non-Building Address Point (NBAP) to fulfill requests from customers in fastest possible time.

Responsibilities

• Monitor end-to-end tracking of orders to ensure timely and accurate updates of works progress.
• Provide timely, accurate and quality of works progress updates to Requesting Licensees.
• To go on-site if needed to tackle site issues or requested by Requesting Licensees.
• Liaise with Building Management/End-User/Contractor on site survey appointment, submission of site survey reports, submission of installation documents and installation appointments.
• Liaise with Requesting Licensees/Contractor/ internal stake holder on projects or work orders.
• Liaise with contractors, Requesting Licensees and internal IT Team to resolve technical problems encountered by order provisioning.
• Verifying of claims submission and material usage from contractor for work done onsite.
• Ensuring the submission of WAH documentation from contractor and assess them accordingly
• Inspecting of sites, documents from contractor to ensure contractor follow operational procedures.
• Improving work processes through internal meeting with relevant departments.
• Fieldwork involves fibre related work such as fibre installation, fibre patching un-patching works, troubleshooting of fibre, attending on-site joint investigations with Requesting licensees and contractors when required
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Nitec or Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline
• At least 3 years working experiences in telecommunications or info-communications industry; preferably in infrastructure rollout;
• Hands on experience in Fibre splicing and wiring work
• Have project management experience in dealing with contractors’ and site supervision
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation and communication skills
• A good team player & highly motivated, goal-oriented individual
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision & resilient to challenges
• Able to work at height and in confine space
